FUNERALS

Funerals sadly often happen suddenly leaving you to make quick decisions you may not have been otherwise prepared for.   Having a celebrant work with you means that you can take the time to consider how you want to celebrate their life.    You may want to include music or songs, or perhaps a reading or poem that reminds you of your loved one. I then design a heartfelt ceremony that is both personal and unique.

I can provide you with either a funeral ceremony or celebration of life service.  Both offer a gentle avenue into the mourning process.  The main difference between them is the presence of the body.  At a funeral it is held at a crematorium the the body is present, while at a celebration of life the body absent, and these ceremonies can be held anywhere of your choice.

Also a Celebration of life can be carried out any time, from a day after your loved one has passed or a year, its what suits you.  It could be on a special anniversary you both share, or their birthday, or the anniversary of their passing.  There are really no limited with the Celebration of Life Ceremonies.

The normal costs for this is from £250 for a local ceremony.  This will include a thorough meeting at your home or mine to chat about what your perfect funeral ceremony would look like.  We then have a lovely chat about your loved one in great detail so that I get to know them as a person and how they lived their life, then I will create a personalised unique ceremony that will represent their life perfectly.  Once approved by you I then lead the ceremony.

I can also help you design a personalised funeral program should you want something a little more fancy than what your chosen funeral directors may be offer you.

I cover funerals within Essex and other areas further afield by special arrangement.  For Celebration of Life Ceremonies, where and when the ceremony takes place is down to you so that you choose a unique and personal way of saying goodbye to your family member or friend and give them a beautiful send off you know that they would love.

LIVING WAKES & CEREMONIES

​

For those that may be at end of life and you know that your families will not cope with your passing, you may want to consider organising your own ceremony in advance.  Although these meetings are normally therapeutic and healing to those left behind, sometimes due to your passing and the inability to deal with the sadness, you may not end up with a service that does you justice and miss that very personality that epitomises you.  In these circumstances, we can go through the process together, and you get to pick how you want to be remembered by your loved ones.
