PET CEREMONIES
Even though pets cannot talk they are one of the most important parts of any person's life and as a dog owner, I know how difficult it is for me to imagine my life without my boy Barney, and I'm sure you are no different with your Pets too. I know that they are not just a pet but a member of the family and when we lose a pet it provides a huge gap in our lives and they deserve a beautiful farewell ceremony just as much as any of us.

As a Celebrant I will help you honour the life and memory of your loved one with a meaningful ceremony that can be anything you wish it to be.
This could also be the first time your children experience any kind of loss or and this helps them understand loss better arranging the ceremony for their beloved companion to acknowledge the loss and celebrate the life of your pet and help you find comfort and peace.
Of course as adults, the loss of a pet is a very significant event in our lives and is something that we prefer to keep from our thoughts. While they are with us we do our best to enhance their quality of life, and a proper funeral is an appropriate next step for us to take on their behalf.
If you wish to have a farewell ceremony for your pet I will come to meet you to discuss your requirements to ensure that your companion is given a memorable ceremony and help you create a service that may include readings, poetry or prayers. I am happy to conduct the funeral ceremony or a blessing at your home.
